Eclectic & DIY goes so well with a waterfront wedding

Rain or… More rain, this fun & lively pair threw quite the epic wedding adventure.

Amidst the torrential downpour, this typically beaming SF October day came together quite nicely. Audrey & Shane had made plans for an incredible backyard picnic day on Angel Island followed by a sunset ferry cruise for their ceremony out in the Bay. Unfortunately, mother earth had other far wetter plans for the couple. The night before, due to the crazy weather forecast, they had to move to Plan B. They moved their whole celebration into a cozy Sausalito retreat center nestled into the harbor. The party hats were still worn.

Audrey & Shane are the hippest. Audrey’s first outfit was a floral patterned white dress with a vintage mesh tea party fascinator hat & Shane left his bow-tied sharks upside down. They handmade jam for party favors, cake pops for appetizers & detailed his & her’s burger options for their gourmet BBQ buffet. Audrey & Shane’s loved ones held up their chuppah for their intimate ceremony & the couple cut into a quadruple-tiered Brie cheese cake to mark their union. They hired salsa dance instructors to get the dancing started & everyone totally got down.

Although Audrey & Shane had to move to their plan B, their funk, charm & celebrated love kept the party shining no matter the weather.
